The course begins on the boardwalk at the beautiful Wildwood Convention Center where you continue along the “boards” for about 1.5 miles. The Wildwoods Boardwalk has been named one of the Top 10 American Boardwalks offering unique stores, amusements and beautiful ocean views, so take it all in there is so much to see.
As you exit the boardwalk (mile 1.5) and run through North Wildwood, you will continue around the sea wall (miles 2-4 and 7-9) and out over the bridge toward Stone Harbor (miles 4-7). Runners turn around on the bridge and follow the same course back to the boardwalk.
Coming back you once again run past the crowds at the Convention Center and exit the boardwalk through the famous “Wildwoods” sign (mile 11). Say cheese because this is where our professional photographers will capture your Wild moment!
The next mile (mile 12) takes you down retro Ocean Avenue through Wildwood Crest where the cool mid-century themed hotels, artifacts, fascinating history and bright neon lights bring the Wildwoods Doo Wop experience to life.
The last mile is along the paved bike which runs right along the beach and offers stunning ocean views (just when you need them most!).
Thousands of spectators will cheer you down the beach and into the finish chute for one of, if not the most, memorable race finish of your life!
And of course, as with all CGI Races, the course will feature great scenery, live music, well stocked aid stations and a post race block party located right on the beach at the Convention Center featuring a LIVE concert, food, and more.
